  1. Desmond, I LOVE your work, and your choices of portraits that I get to see all over Seattle. I live on the south end of West Seattle, a block from Tony’s Market. There’s a box on the NW corner of 35th and Barton, by Super Deli Mart, that’s right across the street from Tony’s. I’d like to make the suggestion that you consider doing a portrait of Tony Genzale on that box. He was a fixture in the neighborhood – with his fruit and vegetable stand, and Christmas trees – until he passed away in 2010, 11 years ago last week. His son currently runs the business.

    Also, I hate to report that the George Floyd piece on Roxbury off 17th, was vandalized several months ago. Every time I drive past it it makes me sad and angry, and I wish you could come re-do it!

  3. Hi, i’m french and i visited Seattle a few month ago and saw a lot of your grunge portaits. I appreciate it a lot.
    is there any way to know the adress of the traffics signals box ? particulary, i’m looking for Tad, Frances Farmer and Bourdain.

    1. Unfortunately the Tad box painting was removed. Francis Farmer is in the west seattle junction (Alaska st. + California ave) but is not one of my paintings. Bourdain is deep into capitol hill area. (23rd and republican)

      1. Sorry, I can’t find any map on this website. It’s on your wordpress website ? I precise i miss the adress for the big wall mural that includes all the artists in the mural (Cornell, Cobain, Staley…)
